NAME: Isaac "Newt" Newton
CANON: The Maze Runner
AGE: Newt is just a touch under 18 years old. To give justification, he comes from a canon in which Everything Is Terrible; to say he's emotionally mature would be putting it lightly. He's been through everything from death to trauma to a suicide attempt to a horrible disease that stole his mind from him--the whole point of these YA dystopia novels is kids who grow up too fast. I'd like to go ahead and bump him to 18--it would only be a few months of difference.

INCENTIVE/FIT: Newt would ask for a cure to the Flare, the deadly disease that wracks his world back home. He doesn't care so much about himself (though I'm assuming he'd be cured upon arrival? If not, I need to adjust his canon point--just let me know!), but if he can get one for the rest of the world and any of his friends that are in danger, Newt would be satisfied. Newt has no strong hangups or anything like that, though he's probably going to be pining after his dead boyfriend at first; though he has PTSD out the butt, he's fairly touchy and warm with people, so that certainly won't be a problem!
